Occupational Health and Safety Regulations require all employers to provide adequate first aid facilities and need to be kept updated and replaced when necessary, as well as ensuring that you have enough first aider staff to administer first aid.
First Aid kits need to be complete with the medical supplies that your particular workplace needs, whether you’re maintaining a food and beverage industry site, or an industrial, warehouse, office, or other kind of workplace or even in your home.
Your workplace first aid kit needs to be located in an accessible place known to all employees, but where it will not be disturbed when not in use. A wall bracket or well-signposted closet or shelf for storage is a good practice.
